Hatha
yoga is an ancient holistic practice involving all levels of being,
and it has been proven over thousands of years to be
a therapeutic as well as a preventative science because the
asanas help to provide protection for the body and strengthen the
immunity.
Yoga
asanas are stimulative and do not lead to breathlessness, they keep
the nervous system elastic and capable of bearing stress, whilst
achieving balances between core strength and flexibility, and
between mental, physical and emotional faculties also.
The
great advantage of yoga is that it can be practiced by anyone
irrespective of age, sex, and physical condition.
All
yoga teachers will by nature provide instruction in their own unique
way, and students should be encouraged to find a teacher who suits
them, ensuring though as with any other health profession, that the
teacher holds appropriate qualification.

Simmonett has been teaching Hatha Yoga since 1998, and practicing
